How it works:

The mini TV remote works up to 40 feet away.

You must have a direct line from the remote to the TV. Point your keychain remote at your TV, press and hold the MUTE button. When your TV flashes MUTE on your screen or when your sound goes silent, let off the mute button.

At this point your remote has found your TV's signal and is ready for use. You can now change channels, adjust volume, mute, or power on and off your TV.

To only turn off a TV, simply press and hold the power button and it will zap the TV off in a flash. Great for pranks and as a gift idea for that hard-to-buy-for person.
