If left for remote covert recording, a special feature allows it to remain dormant until a sound is detected and then it will switch on automatically and begin recording.

Playback is either via headphones which can be plugged directly into a hidden socket and comes complete with a remote control unit or alternatively, audio files can be transferred to a PC using a special USB cable and then stored, emailed, uploaded or played back just like an MP3 file.
